What KupuKupu stores about you, why, and who else sees it.
When you create an account we keep your email address, your name, and an encrypted form of your password. We never store the password itself.
When you join a trip we keep the city you are flying from, whether you want to avoid stopovers, and the destinations you pick and rank. Everyone else on that trip can see your name, your departure city and your prices — that is the point of the app.
If you upload a profile photo, we keep it until you replace or delete it.
A session cookie keeps you logged in. It is required for the site to work at all and is not used to track you anywhere else.
Analytics cookies are only set if you accepted them. Your answer is remembered for a year, after which we ask again.
Your account and its trips stay until you ask us to delete them. Deleting a trip removes its memberships, wishlists and flight records with it.
If you are in the EU or the UK you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to kupukupuhelper@gmail.com and we will answer within a month.
